how they handle priority boarding based off status
The link already spelled this out. 70% of the plane will be seated before they even get to this new boarding scheme.

Why can't 737 type jets have multiple entrance/ exits?
They do. But you would need multiple ramps for each gate

the problem with all of this is the airlines are dealing with the lowest common denominator of morons, the unwashed masses that make up the flying public

The root of all boarding delays. If they got rid of it, the time saved might be quicker even if we had to go to baggage carousel.

I like this but what about families with kids?
Will they be forced to board separately

It's only fair, business/first costs good money and you get what you pay for.

My SO will be pissed I leave her to seat while she stays behind and it'll be my fault somehow.
Vacation will be ruined at the start.

Don't be a poor. If you must fly commercial, and don't have status or can't afford first class, accept your lot in life.

The Better Boarding Method Airlines Won't Use

Fascinating.
I say, nothing quite intrigues me like the trials and tribulations of laypersons and commercial air travel. The citation remains one of my greatest investments.

I always thought that the plane should be boarded back to front.
that's how it was 20 years ago..
There have been multiple time studies on this. And it always blows my mind to read them.
Multiple airlines have tried the front to back thing. And it doesn't work. Even though there's no reason why it shouldn't. But it just doesn't.
The studies all show that chaotic boarding is quickest. Makes no sense to me.
