Ours didn’t. They celebrated other “accomplishments” but never showed the bottom line

Skilled being the key word. It takes time to learn those skills.
It usually takes a person with good potential(the key words) two years to become a good diesel tech/mechanic.
Even then, most techs usually start out by changing oil.
If they are lucky, they can get with an experienced tech who is patient and is willing to train/mentor them.
An electrician usually starts out pulling wire, carrying supplies and materials, digging ditches...
The same can be said just about all trades that has the potential for a young person to make a good living.

People don’t want to admit this but people as a whole are far more productive in the office than at home. Yes you’ll have the occasional person who does better at home, but 90% of “adults” need the supervision and structure to perform their jobs well.
I am sure in some industries, yes. In my industry, it literally doesn't matter and can actually be more efficient on Zoom with screen sharing and sending important links in the chat.
But I do understand in some industries, it does make a difference.

Nobody hiring due to all the uncertainty, businesses don't know how to plan at this point
Please tell us more. Go ahead and state specifically what the uncertainty is and what plans they can’t make.

Our company laid off 100 IT ppl. Offshored the work to Hungary and India
They should be fined for every job they offshored.

consistent, you wouldn’t see so many CEOs mandating employees back in the office.
I'm sure its got nothing to do with commercial real estate values.

Well, he fired the statistician so results should appear better on paper in the future. No worries.

Good.
Paves path for the housing build up.
*Assuming we don’t export the 90% of people that actually build houses.
Labor supply actual shrunk at the same pace as jobs shrunk. Final y, people are being forced back to work.
Lowest % of government jobs since 1939!

American real estate if foreign, should be required to hire American citizens.

Yes. I wonder if any other place is so open to foreigners working. I know in Costa Rica, a non-citizen can’t do work that a citizen can do. And if by some chance a foreigner owns a business they must employ citizens and can’t even “work” themselves.

Skip college kids. It’s nothing more than a debt trap. Welders, Electricians, Plumbers and HVAC work is where it’s at.
Meh, you can make smart decisions like do your 1st two years at a community college. That right there will save you tens of thousands. It also opens up a lot more scholarship opportunities as a transfer student to the university. Work your arse off and make wise decisions and you can go to college for very little money.

Why would anyone hire a lazy arse federal worker?
Why would anyone hire someone that has drank on the job, not showed up, and had to quit to go to rehab?

Just go read the financial statements and/or press from pretty much any big company in this country

Requiring people to work for benefits they get. Horrible

Smells like BS. The market for new hires who didn't check boxes was in the toilet for the past two years despite the propaganda to the contrary.

Medical is still hiring
And unfortunately the medical profession can’t really be work from home for the most part . It’s not like someone is going to have a bio lab or CT/MRI at home.

I have one in the family in the medical profession that works from home.
I have another working from home, handling an Engineering Company.

Are you trying to qualify yourself as the laziest MFer in the OT? That’s an amateur level excuse for your usual bleating for RTO because you have a company full of shitty managers.
