I bought my truck in late 2019 at 17k miles.

My job became remote and three years later I only have 40k miles on it due to my job becoming fully remote and no more driving to the office.

So two positives I guess

the only thing i liked about the pandemic was how little traffic there was in 2020 and into early 2021

Zoom isn’t always a great way to do business, but it is a better way to do a lot of business that we wasted a lot of time, travel, and money on before the pandemic.

Our kids and their friends hung around the house every day and night. Every day was cool stuff and every night was fire in the backyard drinking and hanging out.

Really was a great time.

HUGE positive - Remote/virtual classrooms allowed parents to see the leftist propaganda garbage the teachers unions were/are using to indoctrinate students - and parents are voting out the school board groomers.

$$$ if one happened to be in the right situation.

Property values included, but I was primarily thinking of the industries that directly or indirectly benefited.

I started using Target pickup almost exclusively. I seldom go into that store. It’s saved me tons of time and money.

And vet drop off/pick up wasn’t a thing at our vet before. It doesn’t work for every visit, but I think it saves everyone time when it can happen.

Also, our city started allowing alcohol to go from non-package stores. Bulk cocktails from our favorite spots along with takeout was a great way to support them when they were struggling and also made a shitty time more fun.

Not having to personally meet a delivery person at the door.

Before the pandemic if I had groceries delivered they would bail if I wasn't home in time and take the groceries back.

Yo, I paid for them it's my problem if they spoil out there.

I think the biggest unanticipated positive of the pandemic is for everyone to finally realize how ridiculous it is in a lot of jobs to be forced to be in the office 40 hours a week.

We found out who the humans are (pure bloods) and who the severely mentally handicapped beings are (dirty bloods)

There is even a database for it we can reference

We found out who the sheep are and who the independent thinkers are.

Also gave us great insight as to how evil some people - Covidians- really are with their lust to control others. Scary to see how many people are willing to sacrifice their liberties and give others control over their lives.

outing of the spineless sheep in society.

you know, the type that still wear masks, mask in their car, and proudly inform their coworkers and family members they got a recent booster.
