2 posts, both about the same thing, and using the same wording.

I don't think people are obsessed with beating on Uhigh, but it's an easy target. It's a public school that has tuition and claims it's admissions are not selective. But they are loaded with kids of connected parents and kids who are phenomenal athletes. I think most people see it for what it really is. When you hear of stories about kids not paying tuition, discipline problems, and ineligible players, it just backs up the assumptions that most people have about the school.
And I would assume most people don't really give a rats frick about Uhigh, but it's fun to ruffle the feathers of those that do.

My question is…where are they going to find all these replacement teachers?
How many actual teachers have been fired?
Finding teachers willing to go there wouldn’t be a huge problem. It would be a much nicer teaching environment than almost any public school in the area.

It seems there is more hate for U High here than the rest of schools in BR
That's the people whose kids didn't get in.

It’s a public selective school. Just like the magnet schools. They absolutely have admission standards & testing.

Right. It is a public school So CrusherofDreams needs to take her (assumption) beef to the School Board not the Message Board.

It's hard to convince anyone that they stand by this when you look at their athletic teams.

Vacation!
Of wins…I’d start with football program quitting cheating.

What does that even mean?
The elementary school is ranked number 1 in the area & top 10 in the state.

Back in the day at Episcopal, teachers found out they weren’t coming back when there wasn’t a contract in the mailbox on contract day. No “We’re going in a different direction” meeting ahead of time.

Lesson? there are no free meals. Send your kid to a private school.

This is before they start bringing in the recruits. And I never said it was a bad school. I'm just commenting on the things being reported from the high school.

Ok, even if you factor in the HS, it’s the 2nd ranked HS in the area and top 10 statewide. So your statement is still goofy.

There have been some firings or notices their contracts will not be renewed after next year. Also, they require their teachers to have a Masters degree, or they have to obtain one within so many years of their hire, if they do not, they can be let go.
