This is no joke. Those middle easterners smell horrible as well. One time I was in locket and got in an elevator to go down to the basement, there was one of them that got on with me. Dude smelled so bad I had to hold my breath and when I got off I felt like I smelled like him.. It was like I could still smell him while I was in class.
Went to class, come out, got on the elevator again and no bullshite the elevator still smelled like that dude. The first person who went in made a comment about how bad it smelled in there.
Not sure how true this is, but somebody told me that their women are attracted by their natural smell, but if that is the case, that dude in the elevator must have had all the middle eastern bitches because that natural smell was strong as frick.

Of course people are overreacting and crying racist because everyone is a bunch of ninnies, but it was dumb to put specific reasons, especially ones that pertain to certain cultures. It would have been just as easy to ask everyone to wear deodorant because nobody wants to sit next to someone that didn't put deodorant on.

I worked with a guy that would bathe in his cologne. It was so strong that you could tell if he had been in a room 5 minutes ago. The shite gave me a headache. I asked him to tone it down..He had reason for using so much cologne..The dude had real bad B.O. Be careful what you wish for...

Also, I'm half Indian (dot), and nothing in this thread offends me whatsoever. If white people ate Indian food all day and didn't wear deodorant, they'd smell like BO, too.
It's a cultural issue, not a racial issue. And we're talking about this happening in the US where we have preexisting cultural standards. We have been wearing deodorant since it was invented, and, if foreigners want to come here and not be scrutinized, they should adhere to our customs and way of life.

Worked offshore one summer between semesters and had to get something one of the off tower guys had in his room. Walked in and this 250# guy is buck naked spraying down with fds. No shower after working 12 hours on a drilling rig or getting into bed. Yuck

I know someone who worked offshore in India. He said it was by far the worst offshore experience you can imagine.
I worked on an offshore rig in the GOM once that was 100% AA rig crew who were racist AF. They cooked chitlans one day for lunch. You can't imagine how bad those living quarters smelled that day.

I work in IT at a big investment firm, so naturally I worked with a lot of Indians. Most of them bathed regularly and didn't smell. There was this one bitch however that always stunk to high heaven and smelled up the whole floor. I reported her ads to HR with the quickness. HR lady handled it right away. Told me she had lots of practice. Said the French were particularly bad about not bathing. Big surprise.

When I was 15 My Dad my brother and me went to the Worlds Fair in New Orleans. Went into the Indian exhibit and I immediately walked out. I don't know what they were cooking or eating or had eaten or WTF was going on. In my life I have smelled burning flesh,rotten pogies among other things and until this day I have never smelled anything close to that.
