Watching two tatted up meatheads beat each other senseless while inside of a cage surrounded by blood thirsty degenerates.
How can that be anything BUT trashy?
Hell, if it were dogs in the cage, it would be illegal.
Funny thing me how there is a push out there to ban football for being too violent etc etc, yet no one cares about the UFC shite fest.

It's a cool sport, but a lot of the people around here who follow it and train at it are the worst kind of bozos. I mean, literally, people who want to learn to fight just so they can be dicks to other people and beat them up when they object to it.

If that's your viewpoint on MMA then you clearly don't understand the strategy behind it.
They aren't "beating each other senseless" and MMA has many less blows than a boxing match.
I have no problem with football, but football causes much more body trauma than MMA does.

I really enjoy UFC.
I boxed in the Army and I do jui jitsu now.
The result is an appreciation for how badass these guys/gals really are.
No offense to the OT, but very few people could last one 5-minute round. I'm not referring to the fighting, but just the cardio.
Add the fight skills.....and these guys are top 1% in the world.
Every fight amazes me, so yes, I enjoy it.

I just started rolling again
Two 5 min rounds of sparring is fatiguing after not working out for so long

It is not comprised of a bunch of ignorant brawlers.
Watch just a few interviews... then compare that to other sports.
These guys display the true power of hard work and the human spirit. If you cannot handle the violence, that is understandable.
But know this, if you had even a fraction of the will power and dedication of these humans, your life would be much better.
