Just making sure I wasn’t the only one who thought it was. I don’t care what others think I just wanted to know if I was the outcast on this topic

I miss big time heavyweight boxing. I grew up on it.

Tyson/Holyfield fight was a family event for us.

We used to order the big fights in the 80s. It was an event like a big football game.
The only thing we've had in the past decade are a bunch of dudes like Mayweather who is like 5'7" 140. He's basically an above average woman in size.

I've seen men dress in orange Adidas and wear soft spikes walking around TPC Las Colinas during the Byron like they're Ricky Fowler.
I have no fricking clue what this sentence means.

Does the OT think UFC is a cool sport to follow and watch or is it extremely douchy and trashy??

Therefore you must not and shall not watch it.

I well remember UFC 1 if that's even a thing. Back when the matches were VHS rentals and never on TV. True bloodsport. Dan Severn days. Joyce. Crazy guys period.
Ditto. Royce Gracie was fricking nuts. Have you ever seen a man upside down get another man to tap out? Don't blink. You'll fricking miss it.
Royce Gracie and the what the frick just happened submission.
The sport was much less about striking in those days and more about trying in vain to keep Royce Gracie from putting his hands on you. Way different from what it is today. No gloves and the ref just didn't step in, reset the fighters, etc. Once Royce got someone on the ground, he'd keep them there and it often made for boring matches of the fighters just jockeying for position, but it was only a matter of time before the other guy would slip up and Royce could lock in a submission hold. At that point, the only question was if the guy he was fighting would tap early enough for the referee to come over and call Royce off before he broke a bone or dislocated a joint.

That's because you're stuck in Mississippi.

In America it attracts douches and trash. International...probably alright and more tame.

Just trash. Football has a lot of different types of fans but yes the NFL has a lot of trashy fans.
