They may not charge a delivery fee, but then they will just add more to a "service charge" or they will charge more than normal menu price without people recognizing it.

They will probably raise their delivery fee for the non black owned restaurants.

If I were a restaurant still having delivery charges on my product I would cancel my contract with Uber Eats. If all the restaurants told Uber to kick rocks where would Uber be then?

How is that not illegal?

It is literally deciding whether someone has to pay for a service based on the color of their skin.

But people have to bake cakes for gay weddings

So can white-owned restaurants stop charging delivery fees to white customers?

Ya it’s pretty confusing how this isn’t considered a form of segregation

Affirmative action, special discounts, etc

All the advantages in the world over other minority groups

No Asian discount. No Hispanic discount. No Indian discount.

They don’t need help or want your pity. The black community thrives on pity.

Poor things. Bless their heart. We have to help them.

So they don't want equal treatment, they want special treatment. Got it.

It hasn't been about equality for a while, its called equity. Which falls in line with getting "special treatment" so that everyone has the same chances and opportunities. Its kinda more like socialism i guess?

This is not the equality they are supposedly fighting for. This is preferential treatment. Sets a horrible precedent.

I like supporting people who like progression. If things like this will help get Americans interested in business vs crime, how is this a bad thing?

Because it's not about equality anymore. Now it's about equity.

And by equity I mean giving everyone who's not a white male or Asian preferential treatment.

What percentage of African American does the owner need to be and how much of the business do they need to own? May be time to restructure a bit.

That's great. All the laws in the world don't matter if they're not enforced.

Add that one to the list of ones that won't be.

Now, when you open the app in a major city, you will see a prompt to "support black-owned restaurants."
This would be a terrible idea if America is as racist as they claim. A racist would just find this to be a convenient list of businesses to avoid.

I'm telling you guys this is just going to keep going until wypipo are openly discriminated against.

the kickback from this - when in a generation or 2 when wypipo people finally get fed up - will be fricking gas chambers.
