They’ll probably try but good luck stealing one. There are many cameras inside and out, plus many measures preventing people from operating the vehicles.
Phoenix and Atlanta too. And soon to be many many more cities
Not allowing family to see the body is standard in any homicide. At that point, the body is evidence, so allowing family to see the body would be risking the contamination of evidence.

I know nothing about this specific incident, just sharing a bit of info on why that is typically not allowed.
Prior law enforcement. I don’t miss being a cop but I miss working homicides.

I’ve since transitioned to tech. Overall, I’ve enjoyed it. Starting a new job in a week, and it’s a massive opportunity. Really excited for where it can go.
14 team PPR. 2nd time winning it in 3 years and 3rd time is last 7

Tell the BRPD Chief’s Office to get out of the way of the investigation. The incompetence of that office has directly hampered this investigation.
PPR league. Down 4 with Gibbs left and my opponent is done

Phoenix. Me, wife, and her parents all voted straight R tickets
I love living in Phoenix, but I can see how it wouldn’t be for everyone. Born and raised in south Louisiana, and it’s essentially completely opposite which appeals to me. Summers are hot but bearable. Rest of the year is amazing. Also, it’s drivable to many things (mountains, beach, Vegas, etc).
Favorite thread of the year. Let me thank you now for all the work you’ll put into this thread throughout the season

You’re entitled to your opinion. I promise that the case has been worked hard though

ETA Call the Chief’s Office and push for more detectives in the homicide division. That’s truly what’s needed. They’re all over-worked and don’t have the time to invest into each case that is needed
Completely agree. Unfortunately in that specific location, it was a dead area for video. The “witness” couldn’t provide anything that would help. Obviously there’s more that the detectives have but they can’t release all details for the integrity of the case.
Yea worked homicide for a few years there before getting out of law enforcement
No you couldn’t. You think white supremacists are roaming the streets of BR at 2am
It’s not white supremacist. Not in BR and certainly not that part of the city at that time of night. I guarantee that theory is incorrect

Do you have a link? I’d love to check that out
The prosecutor on the case didn’t like the evidence so essentially killed it in grand jury. So he was released.

ETA That happens a lot in BR. Rather than indicting and working to strengthen the case with the detective, they convince the grand jury that there isn’t enough evidence but will revisit when there is more, knowing that that won’t actually happen.
