Can you describe Montgomery’s demographic/social scene to me
Do a lot of the old money white families still live there? If they do where do they send kids to school? Is there a large population of lower class whites? How about Blacks with money?

The Montgomery kids that came to Ole Miss 20+ years ago would usually be Alabama Christian grads. There's also Montgomery Academy but never met anyone that went there that came to Oxford. Jeff Davis was the public school basketball powerhouse that sent tons of players to D1 programs.

Ignorance and uneducated equals poverty (usually). Poverty usually equals criminality.
