It also explains white savoir'ism, in my opinion. Dignity culture people just don't "get" why honor culture behavior can't or won't change. It isn't opportunity gaps, it isn't discrimination, it isn't systemic racism... it really and truly is a cultural problem that "dignity culture" can't fix.
