Is it squatted?
Deduct $350 for that option.

Does it come with an adults only trip to Disney and a xxxl LSU baseball jersey?

In the grand scheme of things it’s not a bad deal
$40k for a 5 year old truck is bonkers, though

I’m just gonna point out the elephant in the room.
40k for a 5 year old truck
It’s not a 2500 and you are asking how is this deal for a 5 year old truck priced at 40k?

Customer of mine had a warning light on his 2022 with 49,000 miles come on. Brake pads out and needs new rotors. $2200. Good luck

Does the extended warranty include a rental vehicle for all the time it's gonna be in the shop? And does the extended warranty have a $0 deductible?

Agreed. I browse Cargurus sometimes, and it's full of used 1/2 ton trucks with 100k on them listed at 35k or so.

Used truck pricing has been out of whack for at least 10 years.

I would rather hop into this 2024 Chevy 1500 Custom.
$41K.
2024 1500 Custom
2.7L I-4turbo.
Maybe not

That should be $500 or maybe a few bucks more for parts. How long after the pad indicator light came on did he run it?

I bought a 2019 GMC Sierra x31 in February 2020 with 30k miles for 41k
Seems high for a 5 year old truck. Blue book on mine with 60k miles is 36k
It’s not bad off but I’d try to jew em down to 38

Yep, all of this. He should turn in his man card if he is one.
