Looking at some comparisons, 40K is high on the average end… most or going between 35-40k.

Holy shite. You could come close to changing the rotors, pads, calipers, master cylinder and ABS module for that.

Yeah, brakes on a Silverado are not expensive.

Tires? Should original on the rear.
