So are they really going to split this fricker in two, taking up another hurricane name and moving us closer to that disaster of no Greek names for storms this year?

Man frick this storm. Not sure how much it has rained here in the last 24-30 hours but its a lot. Warning for tornados going off all night and flooding. Our pond in the back is getting too damn close for comfort too.
We have gotten more rain from this than we did Ian. Just not the wind. It just will not even slow down. More rain last night than yesterday
Our pond has probably come up over 5 vertical feet at least. I can not see it very good due to the darkness.

shite man, thats a lot of water. I have a little cheapy one that goes to 8" and it was overfull at
8pm last night. We seem to be right in the groove down here for the storm to keep rolling through. Some of those tornado warnings last night were less than a half a mile from us. LOL. All around us but never got any super strong winds. Just buckets of water and they are still falling like crazy.
I think our rain was worse after it rolled through with those bands coming through. One after another. Looks like we may finally get a break around 9am. Im sure you are still getting it up there.

Good luck Lanier. I hate these hurricanes and the havoc and stress that come with them. Hopefully rain tapers off and you get some relief.

I'm in Tallahassee and it's shocking how easy it is being on the "good" side of a storm.
We have had one bad band, currently you wouldn't know there is a hurricane just off the coast

I'm in Plant City and my wife says it got super squirrelly around 3 this morning, woke her up. I slept through it. Still raining pretty steadily this morning.

The tail is hammering us in central Florida. We were already saturated because it has rained for the last 45 days or so. The retention ponds and lakes are way over their normal limits. Fox Weather just said the tail would be a major issue here for a long time.

Thoughts and prayers with you guys. Watching water levels rise brings back nightmares.

Just had second one roll thru since original post. Gonna have to empty gauge and start over with math. Math is hard.
