Please stay as far away from elected office as possible. You’re entirely too emotional which has clearly clouded your judgement. You’re otherwise a reasonable poster from my vantage.

I said that since KA wouldn't listen and AM couldn't get him to leave, that an adult should have been summoned or there should be adult chaperone.
Another poster commented that KA wouldn't have listened to a white adult, which is when I said that Memorial's coach was black.
Follow along.

You gonna write to Karmelo when he’s in the booty house?

'Melo may well have simply stabbed the adult chaperone in the heart.
We just don't know.

It’s sickening. This guy is going to get a slap on the wrist.

When I ran track in HS, I didn't need a chaperone to follow me around to make sure I didn't stab people in the heart

I’m sure this has already been discussed, but I came across a video on X where someone was interviewing one of the KA “supporters”. She said, “I have five boys, what am I supposed to tell them?”
Oh I don’t know lady, maybe tell them not to break the fricking law?

They're a small minority, and you're letting them get to you. Even liberal Reddit is overwhelmingly saying this was the correct verdict and it was an open and shut case.
I mean, it was one of the easiest cases of all time really. He was in a tent he didn't belong in, was asked to leave several times, threatened the victim before he was touched/shoved and stabbed a dude to death just because he responded by shoving him. The victim never threatened serious bodily injury or death and a shove was in no way lethal and stabbing someone for that was completely unjustified and murder.

If he was going to get a slap on the wrist the jury wouldn’t have convicted him of murder in under 3 hours. He buried himself with his own words “touch me and find out”.. he’s now in the finding out phase.

Apparently, it's really hard for black people to resist the urge to stab someone when they don't get their way

No we don't know. We don't know what possessed him to carry a knife. We don't know why AM decided to put his hands on KA. I guess KA's alleged "touch me and find out" was enough of a challenge for AM's 17 y.o. brain -- the same AM who said he didn't want to fight at a track meet.
What we do know is that LA had no priors unlike many kids of many races his age amd that he was a team captain with a 3.7 GPA.
What I know and what I was taught starting with Pre-K was to keep your hands to yourself. That being said, both were wrong and both families are suffering.
I am 100% confident that he didn't wake up on April 2, 2025 and decide to kill a white boy.
But you do you and believe what you want.

the reality of the young black male culture must be taken into account here. He killed that kid because he is violent, and that’s how problems are frequently solved for young black men.
Look at the guy that just got sentenced for killing the priest and woman in Covington. Was a violent offender just released from prison. Didn’t take him long to rob and kill two people, members of the church. And he was in his 50’s. He learned nothing from being locked up.
A violent animal is a violent animal. He’s already proven it at 17 and should not be let out to do it again.

Again, my point has always been that a 17 y.o. is not going to take direction from another 17 y.o. who he doesn't know and who is being confrontational.
Neither would.
Neither would.
