Hard to imagine they spend 5 min finding him guilty and then not give him max sentence.

They might've been comfortable getting to a guilty verdict quickly because they knew it didn't mean life in prison and he could still have a relatively light sentence. You never know.

Court TV giving an incorrect account of the facts.

"austin pushed him then karmelo reached into the bag and grabbed the knife"

pretty important detail there

They are just ignoring what multiple witnesses of different races and from different schools were on the same page about.

'Melo either got bad advice from a sunshine-pumper, or simply ignored solid advice based on feels.

A huge error in judgement.

'Melo wanted a Texas jury; and he got a Texas jury.

So he'll have a long time to think about it in the pen.

I cant believe they only called one witness for sentencing. Feels like defense if trying to set up ineffective assistance.

Justice was served, praise God. Hopefully the Metcalf family can find some semblance of peace.

What I know about juries and $2 might buy you a coke but I don’t follow that logical train of thought. If it was clearly murder than you have an easy leap to a severe sentence.

"Someone who is smarter than me will have to explain it to me." Hold on let me go get my 10 yr old to help you out.

Why weren't there cameras? Because the judge knew well and good that people would be doxxing every jury member, every witness, everybody who they thought 'railroaded' Anthony by holding him accountable for his actions.

I don’t think there is anything the lawyer could have done that he didn’t from a strategy perspective.

MAYBE objected to some points by the prosecution but this was a very weak hand for him.

Correct. He's in State custody henceforth.

Which is exactly the reason they are upset they’re weren’t cameras.

Its all public record and the jurors are not on camera when cameras are in the courtroom.

Court TV was just showing a live stream from the ground. A lot of people were sitting around looking fatigued. It must be hot out there.

I don’t know who has the lower iq, this court tv panel or the protesters outside the courtroom.

His arrogant family and idiot supporters walked this dumb frick straight into a life sentence when they should have been begging for a plea deal from the beginning. The hubris of this entire family has resulted in a massive dose of karma
