John Travolta has recently turned the beret into his signature style. He began wearing the hats while promoting his directorial debut, "Propeller One-Way Night Coach," and now owns at least 12 of them in various colors.
Travolta decided to adopt the look as a nod to "old-school directors" from the 1920s to the 1960s who famously wore berets and glasses on set.

I'd wear the beret before I would wear that beard.

Those hats are ugly. I'd never wear that.

I wore a beret for many years as part of my wardrobe.

And definitely told this to the Church of Scientology way back when during one of his "auditing" sessions that they record and they've blackmailed him in the decades since.
He's at least bisexual.

Big fan of Travolta .. im old enough to remember , as a very little kid, the movie Urban Cowboy being all the rage .. driving by Gilley’s Club.. i think Grease and Pulp are two of the best films ever made … but holy dogshit, is that a terrible look .. man i hope when im in my 70s, i dont decide to get all ‘experimental’ with my choices .. but hey, it takes all kinds to make the world go around, i guess .

Those shoes at beginning of Saturday Night Fever…I was 8yo and already knew those shoes belonged in my closet. What I did not realize at the time was Travolta was also in the closet.

Looks like he’s about to paint a picture of a cock in his mouth.

Only if it had the Sailor Mike logo on the front and #STTDB on the back.
A mix of classic retro and new age if you will. A style that never goes out of style and matches my crocs and cargo shorts exquisitely.

I'll never understand celebrities who try to make some distinct article of clothing their "thing"
Like Cam Newton with his cartoonish suits and hats looking like a villain from Wild Wild West.

If I earned it in the military and it was part of said uniform, yes, otherwise, no.
