Africa don’t play around with dressing up like a woman, or attempted homosexuality.
Full disclosure.... I initially misread the title and thought this took place in Cameron Parish. Thought they probably stood out not wearing the infamous Hackberry Reebok’s Rubber Boots

Two transgender women facing charges of “attempted homosexuality” in Cameroon were denied bail on Wednesday after a judge adjourned their case and sent them back to jail, their lawyer said.
Mildred Loic, a local social media celebrity, and Moute Rolland were arrested while eating in a restaurant in the country’s largest city, Douala, on Feb. 8.
They were arrested for wearing women’s clothes and taken to prison two days later, said their lawyer, Richard Tamfu.
Loic, who has built an online reputation as a cosmetician and has more than 100,000 followers on Facebook, and Rolland also face charges of public indecency and not carrying identification. They have pled not guilty.
Rights groups have documented a series of actions against the LGBT community by Cameroonian authorities this year and last, leading to the arrest of dozens of people.
“We have observed a resurgence in homophobic attacks this year,” said Ilaria Allegrozzi, researcher at Human Rights Watch. “It is common for people to be abused in detention.”
Homosexuality is illegal in most African countries and punishable by prison time in about half of them. In Cameroon, a guilty verdict can carry a sentence of up to five years.

To be fair, there’s a lot that Africa doesn’t play around with: such as running water or enough food for their population.

Good. Who wants a bunch of mentally ill people running around...

I'm always confused by this. Does this mean dudes dressed up like women? I always thought those were transgendered men because they are men pretending to be women.
I don't believe any consensual sexual act should be illegal. But I'd prefer it over all this other weirdo crap they're pushing everyone on now.

Sharia law can’t spread to the west fast enough

Right? I always feel unjustifiably wrangled into paying attention to Africa over some hot-button social issue. Like it used to be religion, "oh the Christians and Muslims over there are hacking each other apart." Now it's transgender issues. Deal with your own sh!t! I have my own problems to deal with. I have many.

Before the internet, no one would've ever heard of this story...
Cameroon....
Side note: Is he from the movie "white Girls"?

How nuanced are laws in Cameroon?
Like if one of the men had not identified as a woman would they still consider it homosexual sex? Can a biological male/trans female and a biological female have sex without legal issues? and so on.
I remember reading that in Iran becoming transsexual was “loophole” for some homosexuals to avoid being hung.

Which begs the question: More third world, Cameron or Cameroon?
