Ok, I've watched this at least a dozen times, its as funny at 12 as it was the first time. I kind of feel like its from a sketch comedy show.
This is right up there with the gamestop freak out, "excuse me? it's ma'am, IT'S MA'AM!"

I work in a very wokish environment where I would definitely lose my job if I was perceived as rude to a “trans” person.

Interesting how people who are in leadership positions of woke organizations are always the ones involved in confrontations.

Karen’s better watch out for their counter parts. The trans Karen.

We don't use third person pronouns to talk about someone we're having a brief face-to-face conversation with.
Related: biology aside, i refuse to be forced to use the plural pronoun "they" to refer to a single person.
My preference to use proper grammar trumps anyone's preference to tell me what to say, think, write, or do.

think if I were going to try to convince people I was a woman, I would get one of the more expensive wigs made with actual human hair instead of some cheap synthetic wig from Party City. The dude is probably bald because most men are.
Lmao! That thing has more testosterone than the Incredible Hulk. No matter how much it try’s to look and sound like a woman it will fail laughably.

What would you assume?
Sir, I would assume you are a man due to your name, Adam’s apple and mustache shadow.

Yeah that LatinX shite is just some made up Twitter shenanigans.
It's a bunch of white liberals telling Latinos they should be offended by their very own language, which is completely based on male/female forms of verbs and nouns.
And then those same white liberals "fixing it" for them.

I’ll be honest, I try to avoid using any gendered pronouns when dealing with an obvious or even suspected tranny.
My usual southern politeness of “sir” and “ma’am” are suppressed on my bitten tongue.
If I have to use 3rd person reference, I’ll simply say “person”.
Eg. “Could you bring this order out to the person in lane 4.”
Even if I were to be confronted like in the video with a trans demanding if they looked like a man or a woman, I’d only say, “You look like a person.”

I certainly oppose people being hateful or mean/discriminatory to trans people (or anyone for that matter), but if someone accidentally calls someone ma’am or sir with no intent to be disrespectful I don’t have a problem with that at all. It can be confusing and intimidating to those of us that aren’t trans in not knowing what word to use
I’d like to know what happened before the video. If it was a mere and innocent thank you sir that set this off then we’ve got an attention whore playing victim on our hands here
My guess is the guy innocently and with no bad intent said thank you sir, and it blew up from there because the customer is being a drama queen. I don’t expect the workers at Sonic to be totally up to speed on proper social pronoun usage etiquette, they have enough issues getting cheese on my tots

I'm guided by two things in this debate:
1) I'm not going to admit or acknowledge or agree with things that are not true;
2)Where possible and aligned with #1, I will try to avoid intentionally hurting someone's feelings if they are not being hostile with me.

From its tweet:

All I want is them to hire a trans led org to train every single employee on how to properly affirm us.
