Seems to be much larger hail there, but no tornadoes reported.
Grimes said so.

Baton Rouge proper is at the very southern edge.

SBR and St. George might not get a drop.

Phone alerts for tornado warnings went off right around 2:45 for us. By 3 it was rocking.

Yeah on the north side of Zachary here... seems we may have been just far north to not really get much from that cell.

I’d say pretty low chance it hits Hammond because it’s moving slightly north.

Kentwood will be in far worse shape.

Pretty good chance conditions start deteriorating in the next 30 minutes.

Future cast shows it moving due northeast but it’s more like East East Northeast. It’ll probably end up grazing the north side of Hammond like it did BR.

I’m in north Port Allen near the old bridge. Was intense but passed pretty quick.

Yeah you’re just half a mile south of us. It’s a fine line.

Gonna drive around our facility in a minute to check for damage. We have about 17 buildings here. Yeah, I wish I would have just slept through that one. I was pretty nervous. Glad I was able to pull my truck in the warehouse though.

Hoping power comes back online soon. I don’t think I’ll be getting much sleep the rest of the night.

It’s been quite the strange phenomenon as of late. The storms seem to stay just above us for some reason.

I'm right by you in DiBenedetto subdivision... shite woke me up out of a dead sleep... car alarms going off, sounded like a warzone outside... hopped inside the closet till 3:25... until it was all quiet except for the light show... still haven't made it outside to inspect any damage

Eta: we have power
