Own a 24 Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited / AWD. 50k miles on the odometer. Zero issues thus far. Great car. Seats 7 comfortably and gets 35 MPGs. Perfect for long road trip family vacations.
Would recommend… Good luck finding it though. It took me 3 months to get the one we have. If you are more flexible on color, make etc it might be easier.

I think all of it has to do with fuel standards. They had to switch from body on frame to unibody frames for fuel efficiency. When they did that everything else went to crap.

I’ve read one of the most effective methods is to use water and make it choke to let go.
Most people in the park carry water bottles and such. Stick a water bottle in its mouth and squeeze. It’ll start choking and release. Not sure how true that is, just something I’ve seen to get them to release.

Yes, got rid of a tundra and opted for a 4runner. With the 4runner i can always roll down the back window and stick a 2x4 out the back if needed. Same with gas cans etc. just roll down the back window, airflow is much better with the rear glass down.

Pretty much the exact same scenario happened to me about a year ago. Dude was purposefully trying to cause an accident on i59. He dove in front me on the interstate and locked his brakes up to cause a wreck.
I had just bought a brand new car with 500mi on the odometer.
That $100 dash cam wound up saving me untold amounts of $. The camera footage put him solely at fault. Plus, I was able go get $5k diminished value.
To anyone that does not have one. Please, spend the $100 to save yourself from these jackasses on the road.

I definitely think Raka makes a return. The ambiguity of his “death” and all, we never saw his body. I could see him coming back.
