Worried about flooding...maybe.
IIRC some of the homes on there flooded in 2016. As far as their safety is concerned...they should be fine imho.

Apparently we've gotten 16 inches since about 2pm. I've actually found a couple leaks in my roof as a result. All where those pvc pipes protrude from the roof.

River Ridge is lit right now. Last report I saw before I put the kid to bed was “we are not expecting any severe weather, just isolated thunderstorms”. Whoops

I mean I'm not a global warming skeptic or anything, I do believe that human action (burning fossil fuels and other shite) does contribute to the warming of the planet, but holy shite if you are going to legislate trillions of dollars in economic impact based on computer models that assume whats going to happen if the earth warms one or two fricking degrees. If your model doesn't catch something like this storm an hour before it happens, how the frick are you going to convince people that your models that go decades beyond are accurate.
