Look at the hook and velocity signature, that has to be a giant waterspout moving onshore

eta tornado:

Second tornado warning in an hour. The 1st was a waterspout moving onshore near Lewisburg.

I can believe it. I am 3 miles east of Ponchatoula close to PHS and it has been raining hard with no let up for a hour and half straight. My Directv has been out since 4pm. Looking a the radar it is just training over us. Going be some serious flooding.

The power has been out for ~90 minutes and it's currently lightening like a mother fricker. Cleco estimate to restore power is 7:08. I predict they're not going to make it quite that soon.

I have no idea how much rain we've gotten, but there's standing water all around the house and in the gravel part of the driveway. Can't see the drainage ditch out front, but it's got to be full.

Under the 1077 overpass right now sitting this out. Raining sideways and can’t see 100 yards in front of me.

I’m in Madisonville. Just west of town. Got dark, windy, and heavy rain. No hail. Have had three tornado warnings come over phone and weather radio in the last hour. My rain gauge says 4.5” inches of rain since noon. Probably more cause it’s been a couple of hours since I checked last. Latest warning is heading towards Bedico/Goodbee.

When I was heading home around 4:45 I had to stop in a parking lot for about ten minutes because it was raining so hard and couldn’t see.

EDIT: Rain gauge says 5.5” inches. Highest wind gust at my house was 35mph.

Yup, just from over by PHS to madisonville. Wasnt to bad, could only do about 45 and slower.

Hwy 22 is doing pretty good, just a couple spots.
