I assumed the fee was built in to the overall price. Hence, I shouldn’t have to pay full price if I’m using my own clubs. To each his own....I will NOT be back.

Top Golf Weekend 1 - How'd it end up?

I always wondered why the TG in Dallas had batting cages, putting greens, and cornhole sets.

Then this weekend happened where some of my friends waited SIX HOURS for a bay. they filled that time with lots of drinking and hanging out an the complex.

Does BR have cornhole and cages? Will they get them?

Bowlers pay the same fee to bowl whether they bring their own ball or not. Why would Top Golf be any different?

What a fricking tool. You asked the manager for an itemized receipt of what you’re paying for? You are paying for reserved time to use their product.

even suggested during off times they have a trial period for the kids before being forced to commit to hourly charges.

When you go to a bowling alley, you ask them to roll a couple before you pay for the full round just to make sure it's something you feel is justified, right??

How's Park 18 in Old Metaire, I was invited to go there with some people but the one person I know who went didn't like it.

Went Friday afternoon with my college son. Almost no wait but it was completely full in the bays. Had a great time. Decided to go again on Saturday before I left town. Still had a great time. Probably will hit it up every time I come into BR.
The games they set up are fun and keep it competitive. The beers don't hurt either.

truly believe that as far as golfers go, the intrigue will die off with them.

Some will still go but it’s gonna be much more of a random folks and the people that play a couple times a year on actual courses.

It’s just gonna be more of a tailgating type experience where guys and girls can hang out and drink and play a game all at the same time.

I play golf a lot

I would visit top golf a lot if it were closer

So you’re one of the guys I make fun of. Coming up there with your own goddamn clubs and making attire. fricking queer. 1k says I beat your eyeballs in with those shitty clubs.

Went wed night when it was really cold and still had to wait 45 min for a bay. It was moderately fun, but overall I wasn't impressed.

Kind of a bowling alley type crowd the couple of times I have been.

Pretty clean look and mostly full.

Went last Thursday. It is a really nice place. I believe we waited 1:45. We were quoted an hour, but I can't really fault them here. People who want to continue buying more games at their bay aren't going to be forced out, so that's just the nature of it.

I like that you can eat, drink, watch TV while waiting. It doesn't feel like a wait when you're doing that.

The game itself isn't so much my thing, but I gave it a shot and it was fun. I'll probably hang at the table and visit/drink next time, but that's more just because I'm not much of a games person. Still plenty fun hanging out up there. We got the top floor, which is what we wanted.

They were supposed to start taking online reservations starting this past Monday.
