I know a lot has changed since the late 80s into the 2000s, but I really feel like society has become very soft. There was a time if someone did what this dude did it was expected he would get an arse beating. It didn't matter if he was standing on the roof of his own house or in the parking lot at the grocery store.
In my mind, when I read this situation.. Some jerkoff yelling to someone about his wife and raping his grandkids.. If you call the cops and say "this dude who lives by me is telling me shite and I don't like it", the police come out and what? Nothing especially if there is no video of it, but even if their were... What can they arrest that person for? Disorderly conduct? So you beat the shite out of them. It just sucks that you can't do anything these days without it being videoed.

So, watching the guy's press conference or whatever.
He says the threats have been going on for years. He says they have been called all sorts of names, the N word, etc. That they have been yelling at the church goers for years. Listening to them, you'd get the impression there's basically an Antifa/BLM protest outside that church.
I drive past that quite often, have never seen anyone hassling anyone there. I also note that the police state there's been only 1 complaint filed in 4+ years against them.
Sounds like a lot of bullshite.
oh, it gets better. It's the Central City Police Dept fault, they are friends with this guy across the street (their words). The police is doing 24-7 surveillance on poor Tony Spell, they're in it together.

And I more than just me is grateful that cameras weren't around when we were young. Last fight I was in, i was in my mid 30's when 4 members of an East Texas dry wall crew jumped me and held me down. Getting up after they wailed on my face as if nothing has happened scared the crap out of them. Houston PD arrived to ask who was fighting. With my eyes swollen I told them I didn't see anything as i was having another drink at the bar. the cause we me dancing with their boss' GF and she wanted slow dance close to a fast dance. Hell, I was more interested in her friend with a white leather business suit on.
