If you knew that raising your daughter yourself would lead to her becoming a struggling single mother who works as a stripper, but letting someone else raise her would guarantee her a stable, successful life with a loving family, which would you choose?

I would let that someone else raise her. Obviously.

I'm already a POS in this scenario.

I'm more curious about whats going on in your life that made you think about this hypothetical.

Are you still in her life after you give her up for adoption?

Option C.

Give her a stable and loving home, and set an example as to what a loving father is so she finds a man who will be one.

The ultimate goal of parenting isn't to possess a child or to fulfill our own emotional needs; it is to equip that child to thrive, feel secure, and find happiness in the world. If a parent knows with absolute certainty that their own presence will lead that child into deep struggle, poverty, and hardship, then the most profound act of love they can perform is to step aside.

So you can let another family pay for raising your child, but still be a father figure in her life? And she'll end up being a productive, successful citizen, with lots of love in her life instead of a broke whore? Seems like an easy decision.

If you are a single father, there is a higher likelihood that your daughter or son will turn out well, out of prison, compared to single mothers.

Statistics are on your side.

To the OP:

I am raising my daughter, who I have full custody of, and although she is only 5, she is one special girl. She is smart, kind, well mannered, and beautiful. Why in the world would she grow up to be a stripper?
