I said earlier his post saved a life. That is the truth. Ive battled this illness for far too long. Sometimes life is hanging by a thread and just need a little hand to help pull you up. My kids are my thread and his post made me talk to somebody about it even though ive hidden it pretty well over the last 10 years. When i say his post saved a life, i meant it. Even if it was just for a day. I felt i had no way out of this but finally getting it off my chest and asking for help was one of the most liberating feelings. Its not over but im getting a new weapon to help fight. Ive never told anyone about my fight until today after reading this. Yesterday i almost made the last decision of my life and it has shaken me to my core. My kids need me and i still almost made the decision to relieve my pain the only way i could see how. The last 2 days have been the hardest in my life. I swear in everything that is Holy that his simple post about what he is going through was that little hand that helped me finally ask for help. I came to site for my love of LSU. And of all the websites dealing with this subject, of all places, the OT on Tigerdroppings came through in the biggest moment of my life. I was still literally shaking from fear when i saw this thread. I wasnt even reading anything, just trying to take my mind off of what was happening. Thank you Fish for that hand even if you didnt realize you were helping.


Eta: sorry for my rambling and grammar. I just want Fish to know what he just did for someone.

I'm so very sorry for your loss FF. Can't blame yourself. Our children go their own path no matter how we try. Can only do what you can and pray for peace in the outcome.

Good for you Soup for taking that step. Yep we have people that love and need us, even if we aren't perfect. Keep up the good work.

Fish, I am so sorry to hear this.

When someone makes the comment, "he is good people", they describe you. I will never forget the pirouge builds that you did at your house. I was fortunate to be in the second build. My FIL and I drove from TX to be a part of the experience, and I will never forget it.

We showed up prepared to camp in the area, but you offered us your house. Fish, that speaks volumes about you.

I pray for your son, you and the rest of your family.
