My neighbor has a whole house generator and they let me plug in my refrigerator with an extension cord. How much should I tip them?

Case of his favorite beer or a handle of his favorite whiskey. Your neighbor isn’t looking for money I am sure, but a nice gesture will go a long way.

Offer to throw in on the gas cost or get them a nice bottle of bourbon (Basil Hayden is a good summer bourbon).
We essentially did the same for my grandmother's neighbor when he allowed her to feed off his generator during a bad winter storm a few years ago.
