It always amazes me people that can’t do simple home maintenance tasks themselves.

There are self serve automated kiosks that ask for a tip. Basically a vending machine asking for a tip.

I tried Delta Dust a while back, and I think it's maybe the best thing I've used.

Anyone know how bifenthrin (liquid) and deltamethrin (dust) compares in efficacy, or is it just the manner of application?

I think we as customers should start asking for a tip. Thank you for cutting down my tree, would you like to leave a tip?

Worst I've had was when AAA came and changed the battery on my car. Wanted me to tip for the $200+ battery, starting at 20%.

I "Other" tipped $0.

You pay a company six times a year to come to your house for pest control?

Idiots and their money

did they ‘want’ you to tip? Or gave you the option to tip?

I’m sure there is plenty of times AAA show up and help people is very tough and even dangerous situations and people are hoping to have the ability to tip via their Apple Pay or CC.

But I’m sure their point of sale system was designed to want you to tip on a $200 battery delivered to your house.

Well done. I will add that to the repertoire.

I'm done with the elevated level of entitlement, too. Working shitty jobs for shite pay used to be a phase of life. Nobody ever tipped me shite, and if I'd have asked, half the dudes i worked for would've beat my arse.

I don't mind tipping, at least the money is going to people who show up to do a job no one else wants to do. You're actually putting the money into the hands of someone who needs and wants to earn it. Better than giving it to a church.

Offhand, lately, for me:

- When I picked up BBQ the other day. They wanted me to tip the chick for handing me a bag of food in the pickup window.

- I picked up some flowers from a florist for Mother's Day. Again, they wanted me to tip the kid for handing me a bag.
