13 weeks ago I decided it was time to really start eating healthy. I've always gone to the gym, but my biggest issue was my diet. I would eat like Michael Phelps training for the Olympics 13 weeks ago I started at 229 pounds and now I'm 191. I'm 6'1 and wore a 38 size pants. Now I'm in a 33 size pants very comfortably, I could probably wear a 32. I know CSB, but I'm proud of myself

I haven't been on a "diet". I just cut my portions WAY down and eating more fruits, vegetables, no fast food, no pizza, no cheat meals for 6 weeks, intermittent fasting, 1 gallon of water/day. My typical day of eating looks like this:
11:00am lunch salad with spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, egg, croutons, peppers, 1 avocado, fruit cup
3:00pm snack 1-2 fruit cups
6:00 dinner some type of protein, vegetables

I eat 1500-1800 calories/day for the last 12 weeks. Just this last week I started adding 300-400 calories/day. Last week I lost 1 pound doing this. I don't plan on losing more. I'm at the point where I'm gradually adding calories from week to week to see where the median is. The weight literally melted off by doing this

I'm 42 and this worked well. Gym I would do HIIT training sprint 30 seconds rest 15 seconds. I do 18-20 intervals of this. Then I lift for 30-35 minutes

13 Weeks ago? You on the meth diet?

That's awesome though. I need to commit 13 weeks of my life to trimming some weight. What did you do on the diet and what are you doing in the gym?

Good job, man. I just started yesterday. Ran 1.6 miles around my neighborhood and have been chugging water the last 2 days. I don't think I can fully commit to only eating healthy, but running more and eating healthier will go a long way, I think.

I'm looking to lose around 10-12 pounds

Well done. I did them same about a year and a half ago. Past 4-5 months i've slacked off a little so I'm more just maintaining now but I went from 5'10 205 down to a consistent 175 -180 depending on the week. Lowest point I was able to get down to 172.

The difference in that is amazing. I can only imagine how much better you feel.

Time to cry for a second-Weight gain

I went on an eating binge this Easter weekend. Gained 10 lbs.

And yes, I'm an Easter Worshipper.
