Dang. I need to get on that diet. Ever since age 40, my metabolism has gone to shite. I used to be able to drop pounds easily. Once dropped from over 300 to under 200 without exercise. Just diet change and working outdoors. Now, it’s creeping back over 225, and I needs to get this shite under control. May have to :::shudder::: start considering actual exercise. FML. Any particular diet advice? Eat less move around more?

I'm 42 and this worked well. Gym I would do HIIT training sprint 30 seconds rest 15 seconds. I do 18-20 intervals of this. Then I lift for 30-35 minutes

I’ve personally given up on dieting. I have started to dedicate my efforts on just getting taller. If I can get to about 6’4”-6’5” then my current weight would look fantastic. Any suggestions?

I still drink. If I drink, let's say Saturday, then Sunday I'll fast until 2:00-3:00 and eat one meal with 1000-1200 calories and that's all I'll eat that day

We had a weight loss contest at work that lasted 2 months from February to April. I won by losing 7% total weight - 16 lbs (from 224 to 208). My basic plan was to eat clean and build bigger muscles because bigger muscles burn more calories.

I quit eating fast food and drinking soda and I started lifting weights. I haven't started doing cardio and I haven't really been cutting calories either. I eat when I'm hungry even if it's right before bed.

I eat a lot of eggs, oatmeal, tuna, brown rice, chicken, salmon, tilapia, and vegetables. Mainly drink water except for a small glass of orange juice.

Understandable. What type of alcohol do you drink? I'm only asking because I'm curious if maintaining weight loss and drinking alcohol can co-exist.

Nice job on the weight loss, btw
