Should definitely be Elon

Wait…how could they forget that he also became the world’s number one Diablo player this year? they also didn’t highlight the strides taken in the space industry nearly enough in their blurb. If the space stuff was all he had done this year, he would still be a contender IMO.
quote:

Elon Musk has long been an innovative disrupter. From online payments to electric vehicles to commercial space, the Tesla CEO has upended industry, and in 2022 he purchased and revamped the social media platform previously known as Twitter, rebranding it as X in 2023. But 2024 was the year that Musk—the richest person in the world, according to Forbes—stepped into the world of politics. He endorsed Trump, appeared at rallies, promoted pro-Trump content on X, and helped Trump form his presidential agenda. After Trump’s victory, Musk’s power only grew, and the President-elect announced that Musk would co-lead a new commission, the Department of Government Efficiency, that is expected to propose cuts to the federal workforce and to regulations. Musk was previously named TIME Person of the Year in 2021.

My vote would be Musk or Rogan.

WTF has Kate Middleton done to be on this list? I've accomplished more than she has.

It really should be him.

Dude wrecked Hamas, Hezbollah and indirectly caused the downfall of the Syrian government all in one year plus a little change.

That's a pretty damn impressive 2024.

There are a fair number of deserving people, thus they will select one not deserving, such as Kamala

It should be Rogan, IMO. He is the face of the "new" media that apparently more people trust than the BS that the MSM has been feeding us.

If you need to censor other people in order for your "side" to win, you don't think that is a problem?

Apparently he's an admin on the Pels board, and he just posted this:

Yes.

I would like to say I'm not going to be some weird unopiniated dude on this board, and I whack threads that don't provide any substance to this board. If i frick up i frick up and I'll own it. I have no problem admitting when I'm wrong or if the board feels like I overstep I'll listen.

This season has sucked a lot and I fully think this should be a space where we can voice frustration in any way that's conducive to a conversation.

Without a lick of irony.

I’d go off the board and vote for this great Citizen of the World:

Same, but Musk has gotten it before. Rogan has proven that he and his kind are the new media.

Keep on keeping on buddy. If you don't see it now you won't want to with whatever proof I show. It won't matter to you. You can search elon x censorship and make your own determination.

Don't like/dislike Rogan. Have listened to his stuff but dont really care to listen to it much.

I think he is America right now. Not his particular thought or beliefs, but his view on how he sees the world.

Is/tries to be open, but enforces his opinion on himself while still listening to outside opinions. People can only be so open minded.

You alleged censorship by Musk and by X. It’s your responsibility in a discussion to provide some sort of proof. I’m being completely honest, most of my news comes from sources right of center so I know that was the angle they were reporting from about Twitter censorship, but I haven’t seen ANYTHING, about X censorship. So please, link a few articles proving/claiming/alleging censorship by X or by Musk

It’s pretty simple. I’m just asking for 1 or 2 examples.
