Question doc, how do you release them when you’re holding them like that? Surely they’re pissed and want a piece of your arse at that point?

What?

And oh. One of those types.

I'm sincerely glad that they start suffering when it gets below 60 degrees. That means that they can't really get much farther north than Tampa. They would basically die off in the panhandle of Florida - even in the mild winters of the upper gulf coast.

Some dude lost his spitting cobra in Leeds AL about 20 years ago and it was never found.

Check your sources, brah. I believe Sir Mix-a-lot already has the claim to that.

Cottonmouths tend to be pretty chill once you’re holding them. Once you drop them back to the ground, they usually just want to get away from you. Though some do get a little feisty, so a quick step back as you drop them is never a bad idea.

They really got him with this punishment. Can’t have any more venomous snakes for the next two weeks lol. Like a parent taking their kids car away.

I always wanted a gaboon viper,

I see tons of videos with guys with gaboons, king cobras, rattlers etc...some freehand huge rattlesnakes (I don't get it bc I thought pit vipers pretty much struck at heat sources). The handling of cobras and mambas just seems way too risky to be enjoyable.

this is actually the best part of the story to me. An apology. Period. We need more of this in society. Not an excuse, not a blame game.

"I'm sorry. I screwed up. Learned a lesson" Props for that part of it.

Yeah, some people think I’ve got a screw loose but I don’t even register on the scale compared to some guys I know. Back when I was a kid there was a guy who hung out at the snake farm who used to free handle a big Mexican green rattlesnake. He was missing fingers on both hands from previous snake bites but it didn’t phase him.

I do understand the fascination just not the risk lol. I am set on petting a great white and grabbing it's nose one day...if I actually follow through with it is still unknown.

I am not scared of snakes. When I was a kid I caught them daily and had an aquarium with water snakes. I would be scared to death if I saw a mamba though.

I could be wrong but I don't think the green mamba is near as deadly as the black...I think they used info for the black mamba in that article. Guy is dumb though.

Half a million tik tok followers and dude is living with his parents.

With that many followers he should be pulling in a quarter million at minimum.
