My sister's a-hole ex husband's birthday is June 15.
I think I agree with this woman in this case.

man, my impression of women has really changed over the years
The advent of social media has exposed the idiocy of many, many people. But no singular group moreso than white women. Who knew that entitled, narcissistic, suburban wine moms were such psychopaths. Now we all do.

1) She confessed
2) Her defense team is not using the possibility of him doing at all as a defense
3) There's heaps of evidence that she did it, he wasn't even there, and no actual evidence that he did it
4) She's been in Psychiatric facility before.

This keeps getting parroted all over.
Outside of being involuntarily committed, what else was supposed to be done?
She was in an inpatient facility a few weeks before the murders and was speaking with an outpatient provider the day before the murders.

"Why aren't young men dating or getting married?!"

The only thing worse than obvious trolling is people reacting to obvious trolling as if it isn't obvious trolling.

Didn’t she already admit to killing her kids?
Yes, but that doesn’t matter…to these crazy women.

I haven’t followed closely, but didn’t she have some absurd number of medication changes leading up to the murders? I could be misinformed, but that’s what I was told.

I’m not sure. I read one article and now this story is all I see.
Wouldn’t multiple medication changes and trying to find the right mix be the healthcare system trying to do everything it could for her, though?

It's weird how "mental illness" has become like a badge of honor for modern white women. They all seeem to tout how they have also had their "struggles" with it like some sort of currency.

All this is showing me is that women should not be allowed to vote.

It depends, with mental health sometimes you want to make those changes while the patient is inpatient.

and this woman is exactly like most women in this country. she's average at worst. so just think of all the women even crazier than she is.

Nothing. The system works as designed. Sometimes bad shite happens and there is a huge section of the population who cannot and will not ever accept that, because there’s always an oppressor to blame.

Should she have been left alone with the kids?
Hindsight is 20/20. The obvious answer is no.
The obvious problem is that she was post partem depression with suicidal thoughts before the murder.
The diagnosis kicked up a notch to post partem psychosis after the murder.
If the answer to the original question should have been "no" beforehand, then she should have been involuntarily committed. No doubt about it.
If you can't leave someone alone because you dont know what they will do, that is the definition of a case for involuntary committal.

Is it PPD or post partum psychosis?
This is what the insanity defense is for—insanity. It doesn’t mean her behavior is condoned, it means it’s excused. But it also doesn’t mean she goes free. She will likely get institutionalized.
