The answer for liberal progressives is after the November election.

I won’t make any “women” jokes. But I will ask you a serious question. Do you think it’s a viable option for the American economy to stay locked down any longer? If so, how are businesses, especially small businesses, that have already been closed or operating with severely reduced revenue streams for close to two months supposed to survive?
And one more question, seeing how it has been reported that even major hospitals like UAB are losing upward of $7 million per month how are hospitals supposed to survive?
I’m not trying to be snarky or an a-hole. I honestly am curious of your thoughts on how to keep the lockdown in place without bringing about the complete economic collapse of the country?

The lock downs needed to be accompanied by massive amounts of testing, both for the virus itself and for antibodies. It's amazing to me that we're going into our second month of a lock down here, and we don't even know what the real infection and fatality rates are. I don't think anyone knows wtf they're even trying to accomplish.

I think we should be able to start opening up now. I think hospitals, if they are able to obtain PPE, should fully open to elective procedures, appointments etc.
I think social distancing needs to be practiced and I think people should wear masks in public places. We've seen in too many places around the world what happens when this virus is allowed to spread unchecked.
I want to open up, I want to see my parents, i want to see my friends, but I don't trust that the people around me are going to take this seriously.

On Mar. 26, large encampments around the city were cleared out to reduce the virus’ spread. Many displaced homeless people were taken to the Hilton, where they have been housed in individual rooms and had access to three meals a day and laundry service.

You said you had no idea and neither does anyone else. I didn’t bring women into it. You just seem like a bitch that can’t make any decisions for yourself is all.
You being insecure for being woman- like is a bigger testament on you than me, bubba.

The alarmists should be allowed to enjoy their kink for eternal house arrest and everyone else should be allowed to enjoy their valuable lives.

they’d realize far more lives will be lost from a massive economic depression caused by the total collapse of the American economy than this virus could ever hope to kill.

I have made my own decisions chief. I'm just not a virologist or a politician in charge of anything.
And if you're going to try to say that making a crack about taking an hour to get ready on a Friday night isn't supposed to be comparing me to a woman, as if that's some kind of insult, you aren't fooling anyone.

Nov 4th will be the day they pick to reopen.

So many people are entirely too naive and ignorant about how the economy works it's infuriating.
And I don't mean in depth economical knowledge, just basic deductive reasoning.
Some people think the world operates on some invisible imaginary platform that shoots out money, food, and all other resources at will.
