How is a business going to reopen with insurance that won’t cover litigation from claims related to the virus? Who can afford to pay attorneys in the middle of this?

Quit projecting bro, that isn't what I said.

I think the SAH order for Louisiana should be lifted on the 15th, I think it should've been opened on the 1st. I don't know if that is the right move, but it's what I would've done.
Opening Louisiana up will have a limited effect on our economy. We need the country back open and who knows when that is going to happen. Hopefully at least our restaurants and small businesses will be able to make money.
The "lockdowns" have absolutely slowed the spread of this virus, and without a plan going forward, without people taking precautions and wearing PPE, there is not much reason to believe rampant spread won't happen again.

Of course they have. But apart from ensuring that health care systems aren't overrun, that strategy has no end game. If we were going to get a vaccine in the next month or so, I could understand the strategy. But at this point we are just making it worse by shutting down. We need to open up and carry on. We'll get an increase in cases but at least the population will be developing some immunity. It is what we have to do to get past this.

Of course we do, we just have to be smart about it. My whole point is that a lot of the mouth breathers on this message board think we never should have done anything and that this has all been big government overreach.
We have given time for PPE manufacturers to ramps up, for treatment trials to happen, for studies to be done.

Hey man I don't want it to be. Just the way 2020 is going I fully expect it. This year is cursed.
