Watch out for the warranty. Hyundai does something with one of the warranties only applying to the original owner or certified used cars.

My wife has one and I do not like it. No power. Have not had any issues though. If I try to use cruise control on the interstate at 75 mph on a slightly hilly terrain it cannot handle it. It keeps downshifting to keep speed up but if I drive it manually it is not a problem.

We had an 03 Santa Fe and kept it over 10 years with no major maintenance. We drove it on the Autobahn and in the Alps and it handled it fine. My wife loved that car but upgraded to a minivan with the arrival of our second kid.

Santa Fe's are nice and very reliable.
You won't be sorry. Two family members have em. They've have zero issues and they are comfortable on trips.

We have one with 65,000 miles on. Not one problem with it. Never towed anything with it.

Hyundai in 2019 is what Honda was in the 90s and 00s.

Almost bought the Santa Fe but went instead with a Subaru Outback. But we liked where Hyundai was as a company so much that we bought a Sonata Ltd for my wife and have not regretted it.
Bottom line, if the CarFax checks out feel good about buying a Santa Fe!

Problem with these lower priced cars us that people don't tend to keep maintenance up on them. They go 10,000 miles between oil changes. Ours is not like like that, we change oil every 5000 miles or so at the dealer..... only once have we brought to it an oil change place.

If you’re talking about a crew cab tundra you have room for a family of five and 2 or 3 dogs. Plenty of room back there.

Hyundai’s reputation has really improved and they are noe consider very reliable vehicles
