The other guy. People and their need to bring their dog everywhere is weird as hell, let alone a stranger's house where you have no idea of their allergy situation.

I love dogs. I hate presumptive dog owners thinking the whole world loves their “fur baby” as much as they do.

The dude shouldn’t have brought his dog over. You don’t simply assume bringing a dog over is going to be cool with the homeowner.

plenty of people have allergies as well, not a good call to just assume someone will be ok with it. I also think its weird that people bring their dog everywhere like it's their child.

Almost as bad as bringing them to a restaurant or bar, even if allowed.

He was. I'm familiar with this situation b/c my in-laws bring their dogs with them everytime they visit. They act like I'm the a-hole b/c I don't like it. I have to cover the furniture before they come, b/c of course their babies are allowed on the sofa at their house.

I'd put my foot down, but it would really become an issue with the family and I'm not about alienating my wife's family at this point in time, so I suck it up. I hate it.

These people can afford to board their 3 dogs too, but they don't.

if I have my dog with me at someone else's home, I will have a place to keep it such as a dog box. I usually let her sit in my truck with it running if it's not appropriate to let her run around outside. he acted like a douche, not you

I just leave the dog in the truck with his tunes on and the air (or heat) on.

Subtle "I have $4500 of expendable income to spend on a dog" brag.

Bringing without consent is irresponsible. But go ahead and bring it so my 3 hellions, I mean darling children, can “play” with him. Dog will need medication by the time it leaves. I have to keep bringing the roomba back inside…the sob keeps trying to escape. My two year old loves to sit on it. My 7 yo thinks it’s fun to f with the sensors so it keeps turning in circles, and my 9 yo kicks it when it gets close. A dog wouldn’t stand a chance.

Dog guy is the a-hole for sure. People who can’t do anything without their animals are weird as frick, and usually shitty people.

Obviously he’s wrong, but at least it was a good looking lab

People really need to leave their mangy mutts, 3 legged dogs, etc at home. No one wants to see that

Listen, I'm as team dog as anyone. I love my freaking dog & will love on anyone's dog that I know. But you folks that go everywhere with your dog, stop.

My sis-in-law brought her new stupid puppy over to our house. We were hosting my MIL for her birthday dinner. We spent a lot of time and $ making it a wonderful meal and celebration for that stupid arse dog to yap thru our entire meal and shite on my rug in the foyer.

Luckily, that first trip meant that it stayed home when we hosted Thanksgiving and same for Christmas.

No one wants your dog at their house, store, restaurant. Leave it the home, dillholes.

The ASSuming prick that brought the dog.

I wouldn't be able to help myself. I'd have to mention how they ASSumed a whole heap by bringing the animal in the first place.

I'm cool with folks bringing their dogs to my house for inside and out but I tell them I have 2 big labs that are protective and play rough. I never take my dogs to anyone's house. I know damn well they would climb on the couch and sleep like they own that mofo.
