I don't get it.

This just doesn't seem like a big deal.

I took the whole week off to soak it in. I'm just scared I won't be able to stop myself from looking up!

Social media era blows everything out of proportion.

I agree

It seemed like I was the only person who cared about the partial eclipse in 2002

But I've been waiting for this one for 15 years. Had no idea so many would care

News just interviewed a guy who encouraged folks to take off the glasses once the total eclipse occurs

He said this is a lie changing event

My dad is currently in NE Missouri checking out a couple of hunting spots for us this year. He got there Saturday and said the place is crawling with nerds staring at the sky.

I mean I will take them off when totality comes. The only thing you can see in the glasses is the sun. I want to observe other shite like the stars and the surroundings

I'm going to work and planning to be extremely underwhelmed and possibly have everything blocked by clouds anyway.

It is a big deal. It is a rare thing to see.

The people who are being complete grumps about the eclipse are worse than the ones who are very excited about it.

It's pretty significant if you are in the path of totality.

If you are outside of it, it's not that big of a deal.

Will Louisiana be closer to the path of totality for the one in 2024 or are we closer for this one?
