I keep seeing non stop posts where accounts claiming to be black parents are talking about how you should keep your kids out of white spaces and away from white people. So much so that I think this must be some kind of 4chan effort to make fake accounts to try to psyop black people into resegregating.

Yes. It's feeding you what you've told it you want.

You are plainly missing the point. Black people he knows are posting vile accusations. That has nothing to do with an algorithm. The algorithm is making sure he sees it; that’s it.

This has been a push for several years now. Not something new at all.

This may be simplistic but:

White people have literally attacked other white people over using the "N" word. White people have lost their jobs over using the word.

Have you ever heard of a black person attacking another black person for saying "cracka"?

The former mayor of New York, Eric Adams, is a great example. While discussing his time in the police department, he had used the phrase: "Every day in the police department I kicked those crackers arse man that was unbelievable."

Imagine that statement going the other way. Would that mayor have retained his office?

Once people stopped doing status updates, it was all crap from then on

No can’t say I have… I also don’t think Black or White people believe those terms are congruent for obvious reasons if I’m being honest… I get your point though

No he wouldn’t… but history has many examples( David Duke, Storm Thrumond etc) who did retain political positions with similar statements

People will tell you it’s “just social media” or that the algorithm is just trying to make you angry. That’s BS.

The actual people that are throwing out complete racist bs onTHIS is allowed to skate and it's blamed on the algorithm and glossed over....a role reversal would wind up with a mob at their doors, possibly with the local news, with claims of racism.

There is currently a license for one race to cause havoc and attack another with zero repercussions other than a few hours in booking IF it's bad enough. That doesn't sound too much like "equality of outcomes" to me.

True, most white people don't go around calling each other "cracker". They're both derogatory terms though.

Maybe, but I'm talking about the present day.

In my experience, most of the present-day "racism" I've seen are just problems that come with normal life. I've been harassed by police in my younger days, they were profiling me. I understand it, it's how the world works. Stereotypes exist because they're usually true. I literally didn't get a government job once, because they had racial quotas to fill.

Another big issue is simply people refusing to conform to societal norms. I've seen black people complain that they can't get a job with an Afro. I mean I get it, but I wouldn't try to get a job with a mullet either. If I wear a suit and tie to a metal show, I'm probably going to catch some grief for it. That's really everyone, not just along racial divides.

I wish people could get over all of it but I also understand it's never going to happen, especially among the lower income, lower-class portions of society who want to blame everyone else for their woes.

Black people dont like white people.

Many don't. I kind of think that most at the very least passively don't like whites. The ones who are more aggressive express it violently.

shite, when I was 15, my friend and I got jumped by a group of black kids a block away from out high school. That was in 1986. Several friends of mine had similar experiences. In the 90's, it seemed like there was a different rando kill of a white guy by blacks every week at The Strip in Lafayette. I was acquainted with one guy who was shot and killed when a car full of black guys called him over to 'ask for directions' and I knew another guy who was pulled into a car and had his throat cut but lived. It happened regularly.

I have generally not seen that going the other way over the same time span, except a couple of high profile cases like the Texas truck dragging thing from the 90's.

David Duke was a piece of garbage that ran against another piece of garbage over 30 years ago. Fortunately that has not been duplicated since.

During the Obama presidency, Senator Robert Byrd, former grand knight (or whatever the frick he was called) was still being hailed as a mentor and hero by the likes of Hillary Clinton and others. He even had Obama attend his funeral. So yes, there is one party that still pushes this racism...

That same party also has a literal nazi running for a seat in Maine.

PS - Guess which party?

Part of the issue is people repeating nonsense they read on social media as fact.

Yea, but what about those black people that Kyle Rittenhouse murdered in cold blood, after he carried an illegal machine gun over state lines?

Racism will never die because tribalism is the natural human state and prejudice is a defense mechanism.

But it's your actions that matter. A person can genuinely not like black people (or Asians, or poor people, or red-headed people) but unless they take actions to harm those people, it is irrelevant.

Racism has morphed into "people don't endorse and like me and my lifestyle"

We’d honestly be better if we did not live in a diverse country.

Just the truth at this point.

Possibly, a couple of them were black. Probably had more to do with me being a young kid out late at night driving a jacked up truck though.

No, we got to the offer stage and they kicked me out at the last second. I had a friend that worked there though and he said they had to fill the racial quota that reflected the region where the job was.

This is probably even more prevalent in the LGBTQ community.

Yes, you can insert any sub-group and it's the same.

Your average black person doesn't have any beef with whitey.
