Just no, she is not hot at all other than the size of her pocketbook.

She is a decently attractive middle aged white woman. She just got way hotter without this weirdo next to her.

Just realized she is 50. So she is better than I thought.

So understanding that capitalism is fair is odd? Hmmm that’s odd in itself. Are you envious of Bezos and hold resentment for him making a fortune off of his idea? Would you feel the same if that were your father that started Amazon?

My only qualm with an individual having that level of wealth is the power that comes along with it. He, and other mega-rich billionaires like Bill Gates, have an incredible amount of sway in our country simply because they're insanely wealthy. Add to this the system of crony capitalism that's evolved in our government and now the super-rich can do just about whatever they want.

I get that but power has always been linked to wealth. I don’t think that will ever change no matter what type of system is in place.

the thing about Bezos's wealth is that his cash value is nowhere near that amount, which makes any sort of policy/regulation on the wealth pretty much impossible. also, the primary reasons his wealth grew that much was fueled by the actions of millions outside of his control (and i don't mean Amazon customers). you start fricking with investing with an eye on destroying the value of those investments and you are destroying the retirement, 401k, etc of normal people.

i don't see a logical way to separate the 2 since it's all the same pot

Make no mistake. He is the most powerful person in the world. Hands down.

No he’s not. Putin, for one, is way more powerful, and far wealthier. Putin commands the wealth of all of Russia and its vassal states. He has absolute command of its military. All of the lists of wealthy people have no way to account for the wealth of dictators.

Bezos wealth is about $200 billion; Russia’s GDP is about $1.6 trillion.

I’m not dependent on Amazon for anything. I choose it often though.

yeah. i mean you can switch from Amazon to Walmart and have very little difference since most vendors are selling the same shite on both. Ebay, too

that's the one major legacy of Amazon, it made EVERYONE step up their fricking game in terms of online retail

We used to order a bunch of stuff from Amazon. Now it seems like alot of the good deals on brand name stuff are gone. Its been replaced by chinese copy crap. Weve been ordering a lot less recently and just gone back to local stores or other online sites.

Well, it doesn’t need to be separated because his wealth doesn’t need to be taken away from him

I don’t think you fully understand where his wealth and the power of Amazon comes from.

It isn’t e-commerce.
