10% of the global economy is tech, 19% is advertising (est. 1% on internet ads). At some point, people are going to realize that somewhere between 3-5% of the economy doesn't actually exist.
Platforms pay out based on engagements (which is what's happening in the OP) but it's just simply not real anymore. I don't even know if there's a way around it. They've been trying to stop Adblock for like 15 years now
