Try not to sweat it. If it was your wife, partner, or children that did this, be thankful that they cleaned the dishes. Remember, it could always be worse.

I didn't say anything to her, that's why I'm saying it on here lol. I'm very grateful that things like this are the worst that I have to complain about.

What you have to guard against is that one day you don’t just “blow up” over all the little annoyances that start to eat at you internally. And you don’t start to build internal anger and resentment. It can happen, even over the most stupidest shite.

I’m now trying to find the positive as much as I can in every situation that has the potential to irk me. It’s not always easy for me, but the more I focus on me in a non-selfish way, the more stuff like this no longer bothers me.

I think you need some Jet Dry for that heavy load.

My wife just chucks shite in there randomly with no organization or reason at all. It drives me nuts.

Ain't this the truth. I can open it and it looks full, but by the time I get done rearranging it, it has 50% capacity left. It's amazing how full she can make it look with three bowls and a fork.

have the opposite problem, my wife will not press start if there’s room for one more glass. She’ll go to sleep with it 99% full

Would be cool if dishwasher could automatically detect if they have dishes and start themselves at like 2am.

This is not a real problem. You should take a step back and try not to let the small stuff affect you so negatively.

Bro, I commiserate!

It’s not about the conservation for the most part. Of course, it’s wasteful on energy, but that’s not the real problem. (Water conservation is not a problem in South Louisiana!)

No, it’s the lack of consideration for others in the house.

My wife runs multiple small loads like that throughout the day. I can be in the middle of eating, or maybe just about to start cooking, and she fires up the dish washer for two plates and a Tupperware bowl.

Now, I have to load dirty dishes in the sink or hand wash my pots and dishes while I wait for those 3 things to finish the 2 hour wash cycle.

It also falls upon me every time, to unload those dishes before I can put my dirty dishes in the washer.

It’s not the end of the world, but come-the-frick-on Honey, show some consideration and be a team player!

My fix for this has generally been to load the dishwasher. She folds all of the towels because the way I fold them aggravates her. I mow the grass because I get aggravated with how she does it.

Thanks for this. Hell, she cleaned the kitchen. I shouldn't be aggravated with how she cleaned it.

This was a mandatory art when growing up. My kids can't even find the damn dishwasher these days, much less load it to the max.

Could just wash the dishes by hand not use a dishwasher all. More clean dishes and none of that BS to come home to.
