Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t FedEx drivers either hired by the owner of a route or are an independent contractor, while UPS drivers all work for corporate?

I saw that UPS makes $40/hr. I guess that’s why.

I’m guessing that FedEx is all about diversity hiring.

Almost.

Ground is what you're thinking of (and the guys in that video). Express is corporate (as is everything else like freight, critical care, etc. I think).

FedEx Ground is all independent contractors and the worst division in the company.

Get gravy on the phone.

I know he can shed some light into why these gentlemen would act like this.

There must be some sort of wording or cause or ideology that makes this understandable

Fedex ground service is absolute shite. It has nothing to do with how the express division is run. They might as well be different companies.

I would put their ineptitude above that of the USPS, and that is saying something.

I had gotten a good deal from Zoro on some High bay light fixtures. It took 13 of them to ship to end up with enough good parts to make the 6 I paid for. After a while Zoro just said not to worry about returning the busted ones.

I don't care what they do before they get to my house, can they just get my damn packages to me? Two packages delivered the past couple weeks from Fedex that never showed up, cameras on the driveway, carport and front door and fedex claims they were delivered.

A lot of those punches looked strangely weak, especially the few kicks.

People always crap on USPS, but they are always accurate on delivery dates, have "upcoming mail" with all letters scanned and the photos emailed before, and my route driver is here before 10 am.

UPS is next, deliveries just come later in the day.

FedEx? frick FedEx.
