Kinda sad that Honda can showcase their expertise of the ICE engine right when the market is pushing hard towards electric.

The amount of people in the auto industry that says it's a bad idea to change tranny fluid is astounding. I disagree with them.

All Honda and Toyota models will if you take care of them

31 transmission fluids seems quite excessive

72 tire changes? Can’t be right? That’s new tires every 13,900 miles? Some of the others don’t make sense either?

Probably. That’s all 4 tires changed every 55K miles.

My car has 180,000 and I have zero transmission fluid changes, on a manual. They said it’s lifetime fluid, but I’m not sure if that’s my lifetime, the car's lifetime, or the transmission’s lifetime. Guess we’ll find out.

My bud has Ram. The tranny went out at 125k. The tranny is sealed with no way to change fluid.

I looked up the expected life of the truck. It was 150k lol.

They do that on purpose to keep you buying new cars instead of fixing the one you have.

My 17 ford truck has 155k on it. The oil gets changed every 5-7k. I change all other fluids every summer before we start camping. That’s transmission, differentials and transfer case, I’ve done the brake fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant once . I’m hoping it lasts a long time and I plan to give to my 13 year old son. It’s about to be on its 4 set of tires.

13 year old hitting 173k. Barely broken in.

Actually had to replace the seals on the windows (where they go into the door).

How often should you replace transmission fluid for an automatic?

I didn’t hit the link but curious what all of this maintenance cost?

Looks like Around 30,000.

Would it not have been better to trade in for newer one?

I’ve only seen people say flushing is a bad idea as it kicks up debris and that’s what causes more issues. Draining and refilling is recommended as needed.
