Will save me $12k+ off the new car price.

Luxury vehicle.

Good idea? Bad?

Probably not just a good idea, but the best idea.

Worked for me on a Range Rover demo with 5k miles. Three years and zero problems.

Only if you don’t mind that the sales guys used it to take out their whores and bang in the back seat. I’m sure they cleaned it

If it has a trunk don’t do it. People do nasty shite inside the trunk of loaner/rental cars.

I bought a loaner truck in 2017. It had 5k miles or something like that on it. No issues 2 years later and saved me several thousand dollars.

ETA - it wasn't 12k cheaper. More like 3k cheaper than the best offer I'd gotten on a new one

You're buying a used vehicle. What does kbb.com say about the value of a used vehicle of the one you're getting? Regardless, I'd want it for less. Who knows, those frickers probably know how to roll back the odometer. When is the manufacturing date? 2019 vehicles could be made easily as far back as last July or so.

I've bought cars with similar miles/circumstances. The break-in period sometimes shows little flaws/kinks in the car. Dealers usually take care of them and you get a vehicle without the little pop-up problems.

Ask the dealership if the ticket has been punched or not?

You know the difference between a demo / loaner and a 4 wheel drive....just some places a 4 wheel drive cant go.

Typically the warranties don't start until you take delivery.

Should be fine.

I bought my car when it was eight months old with 11k miles on it. $16k below sticker. It’s worked out well for me.

worked out well for us several times. Got my car straight from dealer with 7k miles on it. Still considered a new car with full warranty.
