What would you say to a 29 year old that's been married and divorced 3 times in an 8 year span?

That, too. lol

In my case, it was opposite. Long long story that I've told before (no worries, its deleted). But she did more for me than anyone ever has.

This is why you shouldn’t get married to a chick with divorced parents

What about a chick who is the result of an affair her mom had?

Agreed. But I also think some of them can hide the crazy for a year. I dated my ex wife about a year before we got engaged. In retrospect I should have waited six more months.

Honestly, the bachelor life is awesome. 30 years old, a little coin in my pocket and I can go/do whatever I want whenever I want.

I have no intentions on settling down.

I've never been married but I have a great track record of screwing up relationships. The common denominator in all of them was me and once I recognized that things got better. I don't plan on getting married because I know there is a short shelf life to any relationship I'm in.

True. Been together 7 years and I've managed to keep it under wraps thus far.

30 years old,

The only issue I have is how much more it costs to get laid now than it did when I was 21 or so. Used to be you could go to freds and for the cost of a pitcher of beer and a couple shots you got to feel the sugar walls. Now it seems girls who are my age and worth hooking up with have been wined and dined for so long by other dudes for so long that they kind of expect that sort of shite whereas at 20 they didn't mind getting nailed on a futon in gulf shores

That all depends. I enjoy the wineing and dining part mostly because I like dinners, wine, etc but it's definitely not like Freds.

Here's my advice: watch the movie "The Notebook", either alone or with a companion. When it ends, understand that it is a myth, a fairy tale, a fallacy, and a calculated lie.

You'll be happier when you have realistic expectations.

You are out of your mind if you don't live with a significant other before getting married. I absolutely would have gotten married and probably already divorced if I had not lived with my ex.

This has happened to me twice in the last year. Honestly, it can be really scary.

Yeah, I think it is definitely a combination of both. A little bit of a person masking their crazy, a little bit of us wearing rose tinted glasses.

I feel like most look back on failed relationships and see the little hints they missed while in the moment.
