Thank goodness. That would really hurt Toyota's reputation.

I'm with you...

I was worried about the bad batch of turbochargers, but that appears to be fixed.

Had mine since March and many of my truck owning friends are looking to convert to Toyota now....ESP, my buddy who owns an F250.

Agreed. On my second one, a 2016. Those trucks are work horses.

I have a 2016, given my age is 67, and I only drive a couple hundred miles a month it should last until I die. Last truck was a 07 F150, started to self destruct at 100k miles, got tired of the repairs so went with the Tundra.

So yeah, I'd guess many can't afford the note on a $70K truck....So the (ford or whatever other brands) at $90K is affordable?

well i think they learned they arent worth that much so they are being smart and buying used trucks, not another new truck

It's people that were locked in at original pricing and after 3-4 price increases sold at profit.

Example: Places order at MSRP of $55k and waits 10 months for a truck. By the time the truck arrives the MSRP is $65k and you can sell at profit.

My dad ordered a 2022 F150 Tremor for $56k and is about to trade it for $62k after 8 months and 14,000 miles. The market is insane for high demand vehicles

If they're buying these used they're getting hosed.

EVERY single one of these for sale (in the link) that matches the trim/drivetrain of my truck is asking at least 10-20% over the NEW sticker price

Options could change some of that...but not every single one.

I would guess these are people who bought at sticker and are now trying to turn a profit.

didnt say they were buying used tundras, but even then its better then the new price

i can buy a 15 yr old silverado for $8k in good shape with 150k miles and that will last me another 15 years if i take care of it. i think they would do something like that if they were being smart

you're wrong on both.

The old one get around 14-15.

My new one is getting 20.

In my entire life, I have never had anyone stop me about any vehicle that I have own.
With my new Tundra, I have had 3 people stop me and ask me about it.

They are probably worth more than a brand new one too. Because 2022.

People are flipping them. Toyota can't meet demand. Hoover Toyota is getting them in, doing shady stuff, then moving them over to the used parking lot.

Must be how you drive.....I'm in the city an awful lot, not on the highway as much.

My 14, and my 19 all got about 11.5 mpg when mixing city/highway.

My 22, so far is at 16.8 mpg when mixing city/highway

NOW, on the interstate...easy 22mpg or better depending upon my lead foot...lol

Also, I've had people stop me to see mine too. Even the guy from another auto dealership whose quote was, "Toyota crushed it."

Making stuff up? The V8 is rated at 16 mpg, and that is about what mine is getting. The TTV6 is rated at 23 mpg I think.
