It’s depressing that I won’t be able to find replacements for all those guns I lost in the middle of the lake last month.

China's Army is 2,035,000 soldiers. Americans just bought more guns in a month than the number of soldiers in the World's largest army. That is pretty awesome.

Does anyone know what happens if your county or state issues mandatory buy backs?

Do you just get your $$ back on the gun, equipment and ammo? I’d like to get a Glock handgun but I’m pretty certain my whacko county will outlaw them in a year or less. Working on getting one off the books as well.

And that’s just adding to already existing stocks.

lol, the estimates are way low. I think they are double that from what the gun dealers are telling me.

I've got a particular piece I've been waiting on and have email updates from the manufacturer for when they have stock. I got an email yesterday. I literally stopped what I was doing, logged into the website, and they were already all gone.

This country is WELL armed.

Not sure most here would think this "counts" but I just finalized my order for a new F-Open rifle. I had been mainly shooting mid-range (500m) with a 6mm Dasher but finally got a dozer in to knock down some high spots on my property so I can set up a 1000m range. I am moving to a .284 Win which is king for long-range and still competes well at mid-range too but the 6 and 6.5s are still the best calibers up to 600m.

The gun dealers are telling you that 16.6 million guns were sold in the US since March?

There are some upper-level guys that shoot .300 WSM and 7mm RSAUM at long range. Both of those have big node windows so they work well in different conditions and elevations but the elite level are almost all currently shooting .284 variants at >600m. Really there are a lot of rounds that will work as long as you have a sub .5 MOA rifle. In the end, people win matches not calibers but it is hard to ignore what the best are using.

I've owned guns just about my whole life.

People need to stock up on ammo when it's cheap and plentiful. The shite will probably eventually hit the fan and it will be hard to find at some point.
