That isn't the number of gun sales, that is the number of background checks (NICS) performed by the FBI. Concealed carry permit holders in most states are not required to have a NICS check when they purchase a gun. Also a NICS check is done per transaction and each transaction can have multiple guns.

500 businesses were burned to the ground in Minneapolis while the police did nothing to stop the mob, two people were killed, several others shot, in CHAZ/ Chop while the police were unable to even enter the zone. Repeat this for every Democratic controlled city, and it will only get worse with the move to defund and restrict the actions of the police. Why would any intelligent person sit on their arse and think the police could protect them?
